Online gambling software developer CryptoLogic have signed a multi-year deal with betting firm Totesport. The deal means at least six of CryptoLogic’s online slots games will now feature on the Totesports website.
The games will include branded and unbranded slots games. It is unknown what the games are at present but they will include some of CryptoLogic’s branded Marvel superhero games.
The Tote is the fourth biggest bookmaker in the UK and is state-owned. The government were going to sell-off the Tote but this sale has been delayed due to market conditions.
Last summer the Tote appointed a new chairman in Mike Smith. He then commented on his appointment that, “We all recognise the need to bring certainty to the Tote’s future as quickly as possible.” He is achieving this with the addition of the CryptoLogic games.
Orbis Technology will provide the platform solutions for the new games which will be up on the Totesport website by the end of the third quarter this year.
CryptoLogic’s vice president, Justin Thouin said about the new deal with CryptoLogic, “Totesport is one of the most respected brands in the UK betting industry and we are delighted that its customers will able to pit their skills and enhance their enjoyment with CryptoLogic games. With this agreement we now have consolidated our strong position in Britain’s online gaming sector with a goal to return to long-term growth.”
Keith Oliver, e-gaming and marketing director of Totesport said, “Our agreement with CryptoLogic brings together two very trusted brands from bookmaking and gaming content. We are confident this collaboration will not only bring a new level of enjoyment for our customers but will also help to drive our ongoing expansion into online gaming.”
