From Dublin to Durban and Chicago to Christchurch they’re playing Texas Hold’Em and it has replaced the famous 7 card stud as the most popular game in US Casinos.
Born in Robstown, Texas in the early 1900s Texas Hold’Em was introduced to Las Vegas in 1967 and thanks to recent exposure on television, in literature and online it’s become the most played card game worldwide.
Hold ‘Em is a community card game where each player may use any combination of the five community cards and the player’s own two hole cards to make a poker hand, in contrast to poker variants like stud or draw where each player holds a separate individual hand.
And of course there are variants of Texas Hold’ Em such as Texas Hold’Em bonus which uses the core principle but adds an attractive twist.
In Texas Hold’ Em bonus all you have to do is beat the Dealer’s hand to win, and crucially you control the betting.
To top it all, this game offers a hot side bet that can pay out over 1,000 times the initial bet. If you thought Texas Hold’Em couldn’t get any hotter- you were wrong!
BONUS
As well as beating the dealer, you can maximize your earning on Texas Hold’Em bonus by taking the bonus side bet.
